Bernese Mt Dog Mix for Adoption in Salt Lake City, Utah For Sale

The Bernese Mountain dog is known to be a cheerful breed who is intelligent, easy to train, good with children and friendly with strangers. The Bernese needs to be with people and not confined to the backyard or a kennel. These dogs are sensitive, have a gentle nature and need to clearly know the rules so they can be followed, thriving in structure, along with a daily pack walk to satisfy its instinct to migrate.

All of that being said Bobals is a 5 year old Bernese Mountain Dog mix who sadly started the first 5 years of his life chained up in the backyard. He had no structure, little contact with anyone and surely no comfy bed to lay on. With some hard work, patience and love by a loving rescuer (almost a years? worth), Bobals is now showing the world who he really is with playful energy and a super soft fuzzy coat.
Although hesitant and stand-offish at first he quickly warms up and loves any attention, especially head rubs. He loves to jump and play and after a fun filled day quietly curls up on his bed. He has a zest for life and as is true of the breed still shows his puppy side.
Bobals is very well behaved in and out of the house; he is house trained, and does great on a leash. He loves, loves, loves going on walks and spending time outside basking in the sun or especially if he has a dog house or safe space to call his own.
Bobals has spent time with other dogs and does great with them, large or small. He will melt your heart and fit right in to any family dynamic with his fun and goofy personality.
Due to his past history Bobals will need a home with a fenced yard and to be a true part of the family; we do not want him banished to the back yard or kept in a crate for long periods. We want him to have a home where he can go places with his people, sleep next to their beds, people that will play with him in the backyard.
